Round Rock police looking for man who robbed Wendy's with large kitchen knife

Police say he took about $90 from the cash register.

ROUND ROCK, Texas — Round Rock police are looking for a man who they say robbed a Wendy's with a large kitchen knife.

Police say on Sept. 16, a man went into the Wendy's near Louis Henna Boulevard and Greenlawn Boulevard at about 4 a.m.

He was holding a large kitchen knife and demanded money from employees. Police say he took about $90 from the cash register.

The suspect is described as a Black man in his 20s with a slim build and large, patchy mustache. He was last seen wearing a black or dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with matching pants and a dark-colored beanie or skull cap.

The Round Rock Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery at Wendy's, located at 607 Louis Henna Blvd, on September 16, 2024. At approximately 4:00 a.m., a slim-built black male, believed to be in his 20s, entered the restaurant and brandished a large kitchen knife. He demanded money from the employees and, after going behind the counter, stole approximately $90 from the cash register. The suspect then fled the scene on foot, heading eastbound along Louis Henna Blvd. Suspect Description: • Black male • Age: 20s • Slim build • Large patchy mustache • Last seen wearing a black or dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with matching pants and a dark-colored beanie or skull cap.
