WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas — Williamson County is looking to change the way it makes sure potential sheriff's deputies are physically able to to the job.
The county signed off on hiring a consulting firm to build a physical fitness test for officers yesterday.
The $47,000 agreement will look into the physical demands of the job. The agreements will also set up standards to be used in the future.
