WILLIAMSON COUNTY -- A Williamson County detective was arrested Sunday on a driving while intoxicated charge, according to Georgetown Police Department records.
Records indicate that Cody N. Jones was booked and released on April 1 on a $2,000 bond.
Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody confirmed Wednesday that Jones is a detective with Williamson County. He has been placed on administrative leave until investigation is complete.
Employment data from Williamson County indicates that Jones has been employed with the sheriff's office since December 2007.
