Armed suspect arrested after interrupted burglary in Liberty Hill

According to WCSO, deputies are responding to an armed suspect from an interrupted burglary by the homeowner.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas — The Williamson County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) responded to a "potentially dangerous scene" near County Road 200 around 4:10 p.m. on Friday. 

According to WCSO, deputies responded to an armed suspect from an interrupted burglary by a homeowner.

There was a large police presence in that area and WCSO advised nearby residents to stay inside and call 911 if they saw anything suspicious. 

Sheriff Robert Chody reported around 7:10 p.m. that the suspect was captured and there was no longer a risk to the public.

Liberty Hill ISD said in a tweet that some bus routes may be delayed due to the incident.
