GEORGETOWN, Texas — A gas leak in Georgetown caused significant delays in Georgetown on Wednesday afternoon.
At around 1:15 p.m., the Georgetown Fire Department said westbound Williams Drive from Park Meadow Boulevard to Lakeway Drive was shut down due to the leak.
Crews with Atmos Energy were on the scene making repairs, which lasted throughout much of the day.
The leak was repaired at around 9 p.m. Wednesday.
