Round Rock talks about expanding Brushy Creek Trail

The 7-mile trail will be extended from its eastern terminus to the planned Bathing Beach Park, adding approximately 2.7 miles to the trail.

ROUND ROCK, Texas -- Round Rock City Council heard a presentation about an extension of Brushy Creek Trail during its meeting Thursday night.

The seven-mile trail will be extended from its eastern terminus to the planned Bathing Beach Park. The extension will be approximately 2.7 miles long.

The community is invited to an open house on Oct. 29 to see the proposed plans and provide input on Williamson County's Brushy Creek Regional Trail Phase V. The open house will be held at Fern Bluff Municipal Utility District Community Center along Wyoming Springs Drive from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Preliminary maps and exhibits of the project are currently available for review at the Williamson County Parks Department Headquarters in Leander.
