White supremacist group glues poster to Cedar Park synagogue

Williamson County Sheriff Roberty Chody tweeted about the incident Tuesday afternoon.

CEDAR PARK, Texas — The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is sending more deputies out to synagogues in the county after members of a white supremacist group glued a propaganda poster on the Congregation Shir Ami synagogue in Cedar Park.

Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody tweeted about the incident Tuesday afternoon.

Right now, it's not known exactly what was written on the poster, but the president of Congregation Shir Ami's board of trustees said he could make out the website of a group called Patriot Front.

The congregation told KVUE there was a little damage to their sign. They had no further comment.

According to Patriot Front's Twitter account, posters expressing white supremacist sentiments have also been placed around Round Rock and Florence.
