AUSTIN, Texas — Friday night will be the beginning of a series of shows in Austin performed by country music legend Willie Nelson.
Nelson will perform at Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater Dec. 28-31. His show on the 28th will begin at 6 p.m., the 29th and 30th will begin at 8 p.m. and the 31st will begin at 9 p.m.

Nelson's four-night stretch in Austin will be followed by a big performance in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena on Jan. 12, where the 85-year-old country music legend will be honored in a tribute show. Nelson will perform along with other country music staples including, Chris Stapleton, Emmylou Harris, Eric Church, Jimmy Buffett, Bobby Bare, Jamey Johnson, Lukas Nelson, Margo Price, Micah Nelson, Nathaniel Rateliff, Ray Benson and Steve Earle for Willie: Life & Songs of an American Outlaw.
If you miss Nelson's shows over the next few days, don't worry, he will be back in the region in April, performing at Whitewater on The Horseshoe in New Braunfels, Texas April 12, 13 and 14.
