A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a man whose body was found near an apartment complex swimming pool in Southeast Austin.
Elmore Allen, Jr., 49, was found dead early on April 13 at the complex near Interstate 35 and William Cannon Drive. Police say his body had signs of trauma.
Jessica Nicole Krause-Patterson, 19, was arrested and charged with murder. Investigators say they believe Allen was the victim of a planned robbery that went too far, and based on their interviews with Krause-Patterson, there were other people involved in the robbery.
More arrests were expected.
