AUSTIN -- A two-vehicle crash in Northwest Austin early Sunday morning left a woman dead and two children injured.
Police say a Dodge Neon ran a red light and was hit by a Chevrolet truck around 7 a.m. Sunday on the U.S. 183 southbound service road at Lakeline Boulevard.
Diana Marie Juarez, 31, was a passenger in the Dodge Neon. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neither driver was injured. Austin-Travis County EMS officials say two children, both passengers in the Dodge, were taken to the hospital with potentially critical injuries.
Police have not filed any charges.
This is Austin's 28th fatal traffic crash in 2014.
