The Baltimore Ravens locked up kicker Justin Tucker ahead of Friday's NFL deadline to extend franchise-tagged players.

Tucker agreed to a four-year, $16.8 million deal with a $6 million signing bonus, according to multiple reports. His $4.2 million annual salary will rank only behind New England Patriots all-pro Stephen Gostkowski among kickers.

“Justin has become a cornerstone for our team, and we are happy to get this contract completed,” Ravens general Ozzie Newsome said in a statement.

Tucker, an all-pro in 2013 who's entering his fifth season, quickly established himself as one of the league's most reliable kickers.

He's never missed an extra point (139-for-139 in his career) is 78-for-79 on career field goals inside 40 yards. His 87.8% field-goal percentage ranks second-best all-time behind the Dallas Cowboys' Dan Bailey.
