Video surfaced Wednesday that shows a teen holding his hands up before Fresno, Calif., police shot him fatally on June 25.

Dylan Noble, 19, died after a short police pursuit in which he was asked to step out of his pickup truck.

Police said they were responding to a call regarding a man walking down the street with a rifle, but when they arrived at the scene, they found Noble driving circles in a dirt lot. Officers tried to pull Noble over for half a mile, after which Noble pulled into a gas station.

Noble stepped out of the truck. Police said when they asked Noble to show his hands he would only show one at a time and, at another point, said he hated his life and appeared to reach for something, police have said.

In the 26-second video published on the Fresno Bee and ABC 30 websites, Noble appears to have both hands up while police bark commands at him and then shoot him twice. The video only shows part of the incident, during which Noble was shot four times.

Noble was later found to be unarmed.

The Fresno Police Department did not immediately respond to a telephone message left Wednesday requesting comment.

The FBI has agreed to investigate the case, Fresno police chief Jerry Dyer said.

Dyer has said he will release body camera video of the incident once the Fresno County district attorney's office finishes its investigation.
