AUSTIN, Texas — On Tuesday, Jan. 15, the Texas National Guard fired off a 19-gun salute followed by a military flyover in celebration of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick's inauguration.
The event took place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

"Please be advised that the gun salute will be loud," said Commander Jennifer Stephenson said the day before the inauguration.
