AUSTIN, Texas — Vice presidential nominee U.S. Sen. JD Vance will travel to Austin, Texas, on Wednesday to be interviewed on Joe Rogan's podcast, according to ABC News.
Former President Donald Trump went on "The Joe Rogan Experience" last week, which immediately resulted in hundreds of thousands of new YouTube followers and tens of thousands of new social media followers for Rogan.
Trump's visit to Austin caused traffic delays and temporary road closures as the former president traveled to and from Rogan's recording studio. The Trump interview lasted over three hours, and Trump arrived late to a campaign event in Michigan later that night.
Rogan asked Vice President Kamala Harris to also be interviewed on his podcast but declined to accommodate requests from the Harris campaign to travel to her and reduce the interview time to one hour, according to ABC News.
