Where can you get free food, drinks in Austin after voting?

From free pizza to free plants, here are all the offers available to those who present their stickers.

AUSTIN, Texas — With voting for the November general election underway, people across the U.S. are heading to the polls. 

Here in Central Texas, a number of restaurants and shops are offering free or cheaper food and drinks in exchange for stickers from voters. While offering rewards to voters is technically illegal, the sticker swap provides a loophole to the law by not specifying which type of sticker is needed. 

Here's where voters can find freebies and discounts in Austin: 

  • Home Slice Pizza – Anyone with a sticker will receive a free slice through Nov. 5 at either location, on 501 East 53rd St. or 1415 South Congress Ave. 
  • Soup Peddler – Get a free cup of soup (any kind) in exchange for a sticker. Available at any Austin location
  • Austin Beerworks – Receive a free pint of beer at the Springdale location at 10300 Springdale Rd. or the ABW food truck at 3001 Industrial Terrace
  • Kerbey Lane Cafe – Bring in your sticker on Election Day to receive a free pancake at any location
  • Bakery Lorraine – Get a free small House Coffee when you exchange your sticker
  • Cabana Club – Try one of 15 available beers or a cold brew after heading to the polls. This cocktail bar is located at 5012 E. 7 St.
  • Mochinut – Grab a free donut if you have a sticker by visiting 1700 West Parmer Ln., Unit 100. 
  • Amy's Ice Creams – A free "crush'n" treat or topping is available for anyone with a sticker at all locations
  • Baldinucci Pizza – Get six free garlic knots or a slice of New York cheese pizza at 3300 Bee Caves Road #110 in West Lake Hills
  • Barrett's Coffee and Double Trouble – Receive a free cold brew or drip coffee through Nov. 5 at 713 W. St. Johns or 103 N. Loop Blvd. E
  • Joe's Bakery – Get $2 off a meal when you bring your sticker to 2305 E. 7th St. 
  • The Fika Table – Wear your sticker to receive $1 off a bun at the bakery, located inside Malone Coffee at 14735 Bratton Ln., #210
  • Dog Day Coffee – Anyone with a sticker can get 25% off any purchase at 6701 Burnet Road #101. 
  • Kesshō – Grab a free scoop of mango, vanilla or ube gelato if you show off your sticker. Available at 601 W. Live Oak St. and 7800 S. 1st St. 
  • Sugar Mamas Bake Shop – Voters can receive a free mini cookie until supplies run out at 1905 S. 1st St. 
  • Pelons Tex Mex – Choose between a free dessert or small margarita until Nov. 6, at this restaurant located at 802 Red River St. 
  • Meanwhile Brewing – Show your sticker to receive 15% off your total at 3901 Promontory Point Drive
  • Fast Friends Beer Co. – Get a free small pour if you show off your sticker at 7313 S. Interstate 35 Frontage Rd. northbound
  • Flo's Wine Bar & Bottle Shop – Anyone who wears a sticker can get 20.25% off one glass of wine at 3111 W. 35th St.
  • Tillery Street Plant Co. – Have a sticker? Show it off to get a free vegetable or herb starter, succulent and a sticker at this shop located at 801 Tillery St. 
  • Oddwood Brewing – Get a free pour of any draft beer through the end of early voting on Nov. 1. Available at 3108 Manor Road

Lyft and Uber are also both offering Election Day discounts. Both are offering a 50% discount up to $10 on Election Day rides to the polls, and Uber is also offering 25% off orders up to $15 with a $25 order minimum.
