SOUTHEASTAUSTIN -- In Southeast Austin police say a man who barricaded himself in an apartment complex for four hours is now in custody.
The standoff started just before 4:00 a.m. Sunday at the Stassney Woods Apartments, after police say the man allegedly assaulted a woman. That woman has non-life threatening injuries.
The man then barricaded himself in an apartment unit. SWAT teams, police, and a bomb squad were called out to the scene.
Police arrested the man just before 8:00 a.m.
