HAYS COUNTY, Texas -- A teenager was killed in a rollover accident Thursday afternoon in Dripping Springs.
The victim has been identified as 16-year-old Lindsey Taylor Neal.
Texas Department of Public Safety troopers say six students were involved in the fatal accident.
Investigators said the driver was traveling at an unsafe speed when he veered off the side of the road, over-corrected and lost control of the car. The car rolled over and Neal was ejected from the vehicle. She was not wearing a seat belt.
Two other students were transported to a local hospital. Their condition is unknown.
Investigators said the driver is a minor. It is not yet known whether charges will be filed.
Investigators also say the students were skipping school when the accident happened.
Hays County Sheriff s Office deputies responded to the accident around 2:13 p.m. in the 2600 block of Fitzhugh Road.
Counselors were on hand Friday at at Dripping Springs High School, where Neal and some of the other accident victims are students. Others in the car attend Lake Travis High School.
The Hays County District Attorney's Office is investigating the accident.
