All northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 35 were shut down early Wednesday morning near the Old Settlers Boulevard exit, according to Round Rock PD.
KVUE's Nicole Cross was sent to the scene to gather more information.
RRPD later tweeted around 2:35 a.m. that northbound lanes were back open. The department said southbound lanes would remain closed for 4-6 hours for investigation.
KVUE reached out to Round Rock PD, but were not told why the lanes were shut down.
No other information was immediately available.
