AUSTIN — All he’s known since he was a child was constant movement.
“I haven’t stayed in one sport for many years,” said Texas tight end Andrew Beck. “It’s all I’ve known (moving around).”
The Longhorns’ fifth-year senior tight end’s father, Chris, is an active-duty colonel for the United States Army.
“I’ve been to the Pentagon,” said Beck.
The Longhorn tight end’s mother and father live outside of Baltimore and his dad works inside of the Pentagon. That was convenient for the Horns opener against Maryland, a game Texas lost. Since then, Beck and the Horns won six of their past seven games.

One of Andrew’s three Longhorn roommates is QB1, Sam Ehlinger. Beck and his roommate connected for a touchdown for the first time this season in the 38-35 loss to Oklahoma State.
Despite the loss in Stillwater and the offensive offense in the first half, Ehlinger remains confident in the final four games,
“We control our success and when we play our best, we are hard to stop,” he said.
The Horns host West Virginia Saturday. Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m.
