CENTRAL TEXAS — If the Associated Press' preseason football poll is any indicator, we are in for an interesting high school football season this year.
According to the poll, Lake Travis and Westlake both made the top 10 rankings in the poll in the 6A class. Lake Travis came in at second place with 194 votes while Westlake came in at fourth with 174. The number one ranking went to Allen, the defending champions, with 237 votes.
Cedar Park, Liberty Hill, Rockdale, Hutto, Wimberley, Lexington, Cameron Yoe, Mason and Shiner also got some votes.
