SAN ANTONIO —
The San Antonio Spurs have announced their broadcast schedule for the 2024-25 season, which for the first time includes 10 games appearing on KVUE in Austin.
KVUE will tip off its game broadcast coverage when the Spurs face the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, Dec. 1.
"This partnership not only strengthens our commitment to delivering local sports coverage but also allows us to bring the excitement of Spurs basketball directly to our viewers," said KVUE General Manager Byron Wilkinson. "We look forward to celebrating the passion of basketball in our community and providing an engaging viewing experience for all Spurs fans across Central Texas."
Other key games airing on KVUE include the Spurs' first NBA Paris 2025 game against the Indiana Pacers on Thursday, Jan. 23, and the Spurs' annual I-35 Series game at the Moody Center on Friday, Feb. 21, when the Silver & Black will host the Detroit Pistons.
Sean Elliott is back for his 24th year as lead analyst alongside new play-by-play broadcaster Jacob Tobey, who is in his first season calling Spurs basketball. Dan Weiss returns as host of the Spurs Live pregame and postgame shows.
This season's games on KVUE expand on a longtime broadcast partnership between the Spurs and KENS 5 in San Antonio, which is part of TEGNA, KVUE's parent company.
"San Antonio's Own KENS 5 has long been the official television home of the Spurs, and we are thrilled to extend that partnership. We are also excited to expand the reach of free over-the-air Spurs games to the KVUE audience in Austin and KIII audience in Corpus Christi," said Brad Ramsey, senior vice president, media operations for TEGNA. "We are grateful for the trust of the entire Spurs Sports & Entertainment team, and together we are proud to be delivering more games, to more homes, and more Spurs fans."
