4 Texas Longhorns invited to 2020 NFL Scouting Combine

The National Football League (NFL) released the names of the 337 players invited to the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine.

AUSTIN, Texas — The National Football League (NFL) released the names of the 337 players invited to the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine and four Texas Longhorns made the list. 

University of Texas seniors Devin Duvernay, wide receiver; Collin Johnson, wide receiver; Brandon Jones, safety; and Malcolm Roach, defensive line; were among the 337 players headed to Indianapolis. 

Duvernay finished his senior season with 1,386 yards and nine touchdowns on 106 catches. His 106 catches were the third-most in the NCAA. In just seven games played due to a hamstring injury, Johnson reeled in 38 catches for 559 yards and three touchdowns.

HIGHLIGHTS: Texas Longhorns beat No. 11 Utah Utes in Alamo Bowl, 38-10

UT's two defensive senior leaders, Brandon Jones and Malcolm Roach, finished with 86 and 40 tackles, respectively. Both were among the tackling leaders for the Longhorns in their final season. Jones and Roach were also among the team leaders in tackles for loss – nine for Roach and 4.5 for Jones. 

The 2020 NFL Scouting Combine takes place from Feb. 26 through Feb. 29.
