AUSTIN, Texas — Former Texas Longhorns defensive tackle T'Vondre Sweat was arrested and charged with DWI in Travis County, according to jail records.
Sweat was arrested at just before 2:15 p.m. on Sunday by the Austin Police Department (APD) and was booked into the Travis County Jail. His bond has been set at $3,000.
According to KVUE's Tyler Feldman, Sweat was arrested in the 13600 block of North Interstate 35.
The 22-year-old native of Huntsville, Texas, won the 2023 Outland Trophy, given to the nation's top interior lineman, and was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. He has been projected to be picked in the first two rounds of the NFL Draft, which is scheduled to be held in Detroit from April 25-27.
