AUSTIN, Texas — Former Longhorns basketball coach Jody Conradt was honored for "Sportsmanship" by the First Tee of Greater Austin at the 2019 Nine Core Values Luncheon.
Conradt, who won 900 games as coach, including the 1986 National Championship, was one of several Austinites recognized.

- Integrity: Trisa Thompson, Retired Senior Vice President and Chief Responsibility Officer, Dell Technologies
- Judgment: Ashton G. Cumberbatch, Jr., Special Council, McGinnis Lochridge
- Perseverance: The Honorable Julie H. Kocurek, Travis County District Court
- Respect: Nora de Hoyos Comstock, National and International Founder, Las Comadres Para Las Americas
- Responsibility: Albert Hawkins, Retired Executive Commissioner, Texas Health and Human Services
- Leadership: James P. Finck, President and CEO, YMCA of Austin
Colt McCoy and Michael Griffin were guest speakers for the event.
This is the eleventh year of the Nine Core Values Luncheon, which honors Austinites who embody The First Tee’s “Nine Core Values.” The Nine Core Values are a vital component of The First Tee’s curriculum which teaches character education to young people ages 7-17 through the game of golf.
