HOUSTON — You don't have to be a football fan -- or even a Swiftie, for that matter -- to enjoy watching the 2024 Super Bowl.
In a recent poll by CBS News, non-football fans said the Super Bowl commercials are the best part of the game. In fact, it may be the only big event where viewers take bathroom breaks or grab another helping of chicken wings during the game, instead of during the commercials.

With an expected audience of more than 100 million viewers, according to CBS, advertisers are willing to shell out big bucks to promote their products. This year, they're paying $7 million for a 30-second spot.
One familiar retailer to watch out for between the third and fourth quarters is H-E-B.
With the Super Bowl airing just a few days before Valentine's Day, the Texas-based retailer said its 60-second spot plays off the idea of finding love in the grocery store aisles. Not a soulmate, mind you, but love for products unique to H-E-B, including Creamy Creations ice cream, Meal Simple chef-inspired meals and H-E-B Bakery Tortillas.
"For H-E-B, its 2024 Big Game commercial whispers to the hearts of Texans and reveals what they truly desire down every aisle," the retailer said. "In it, H-E-B will flirtatiously showcase an array of popular H-E-B brand products that turn heads."
