HOUSTON — One of the most powerful comebacks in gymnastics history will soon be on Netflix.

Houston's own Simone Biles is the subject of the new two-part docuseries, "Simone Biles Rising," which follows her mental health journey after withdrawing from numerous events during the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics.

Netflix said the doc series "offers an intimate look at the story behind it all."

In the trailer, Biles shares snippets of the challenges she's faced on the mat, including the yips and negative feedback from social media.

The 2:17-minute-long trailer starts off with Biles saying, "I’ve always had really good intuition about things, and unfortunately I felt that way about the Olympics.”

Part one of "Simone Biles Rising" will premiere on July 17 ahead of the start of the Paris 2024 Olympics.
