Whatever momentum former Longhorn, Jordan Spieth, had on Saturday at the Players Championship, it stalled out during Sunday's final round.
Just 24 hours after Spieth carded a third-round 65, the Texas-Ex wrapped up with a final round two over 74 to finish six under for the tournament. That placed him tied for 41st.
Spieth sunk just three birdies and finished the round with a quadruple bogey on hole 18.
Webb Simpson entered the day with the lead and went on to win the Players Championship at 18 under overall. He finished four strokes ahead of Charl Schwartzel.
