CUERO, Texas — Texas signee and four-star receiver, Jordan Whittington, set a record as he led Cuero to a Class 4A Division II State Championship win against Texarkana Pleasant Grove, Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

In the 40-28 victory, Whittington broke a record rushing for more than 300 yards while scoring six touchdowns in the process.
The soon to be Longhorn earned both the offensive and defensive MVP awards for his performance.
