Vandegrift High School's Greg Brown receives McDonald's All-American jersey

He is the fourth person in Austin to ever receive this honor.

LEANDER, Texas — Congratulations are in order to Vandegrift High School's Greg Brown.

Brown, who is one of the best high school basketball players in the country, received his All-American jersey on Friday. This makes him the fourth person in Austin to ever receive this honor.

Brown joins Jarrett Allen (St. Stephens, 2016), Brad Buckman (Westlake, 2002) and Kris Clack (Anderson, 1995).

In January, Brown, who is a senior, was one of 24 players selected to be in the 43rd annual McDonald's All-American Game.

The All-Star Game will be held in Houston on April 1, and tickets start at $20.
