AUSTIN, Texas — The Waller Creek Conservancy unveiled the future of Waller Creek on Wednesday evening.
According to a press release, the Waller Creek Conservancy announced the future of the organization and its signature park at an event on Wednesday evening with donors, board members, council members, City staff and more.

The Waterloo Greenway will be a park winding along the creek. Some of the new additions will be Waterloo Park with hike-and-bike trails and the Moody Amphitheater that will hold 5,000 people for concerts, theater performances and more.
Formal remarks were made by Mayor Steve Adler, council members Natasha Harper-Madison and Kathie Tovo, and Waller Creek Conservancy CEO Peter Mullan.
The event was held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Symphony Square at 1111 Red River Street.
