Tech Tuesday: Last-minute Valentine's Day planning on apps

Have you procrastinated your Valentine's Day plans until the last minute? Well, here's a few apps that could help out.

AUSTIN, Texas — So, you forgot about Valentine's Day, or you've just kept saying you'll plan it later. Well, it's almost here and you've only got a little time left.

We've found a few smartphone apps to help you with your last-minute planning.

First off, if you want to take your Valentine out to eat, there are apps like Open Table and Resy.

And Tock isn't just about booking a table, but an experience. Like a Valentine's package, there's Latin Lovers Night. For 20 bucks, you get a night filled with salsa music and dancing. But if you want to go all out, you can pay $125 for a four-course dinner.

But if planning a romantic dinner at home is more your speed, check out Big Oven. The app is filled with recipes that you can cook for your special someone.

And if you want to end your night with a dessert delivery from Tiff's Treats, you may want to consider Drizly too. The Austin alcohol delivery service can have your favorite bottle of wine at your doorstep in less than an hour.

Lastly, for those who've planned everything except for the perfect gift, you've still got time. Amazon still has same-day delivery options on certain presents for Austin, and 1-800 flowers or ProFlowers might just be saving your night with flower delivery still available by the big day.

So for those procrastinators wanting to stay out of trouble, these are just a few apps that might just make your Valentine's Day that much sweeter.
