AUSTIN, Texas — One person is dead after a major crash along State Highway 130 south of Austin.
According to Austin Travis-County EMS responded to the crash along the SH 130 Service Road near Maha Loop just before 1:30 p.m. Monday.
Details are limited, but officials say the crash involved two vehicles and an adult was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were evaluated for minor injuries and refused to be taken to the hospital.
This marks the fourth deadly crash on Austin-area roadways since Sunday morning after a pedestrian was hit and killed at East Braker Lane and the southbound lanes of the I-35 service road.
In a separate crash around 9:30 a.m. Sunday, a person died on the State Highway 130 toll road, east of Austin – the second deadly crash there in less than 24 hours.
The third fatal crash happened Sunday afternoon on West Parmer Lane near Corpus Christi Drive, just north of McNeil Drive.
