AUSTIN, Texas — A crash involving multiple vehicles has shut down all northbound lanes of I-35 in South Austin.
The crash happened Friday just before 1 p.m. near Slaughter Lane and involved a private passenger bus heading to Dallas, along with up to five other vehicles.
Officials told KVUE that 30 people were on the bus at the time of the crash and that one person was taken to St. David's South with non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, Austin ISD is using a bus to help transport luggage following the crash while CapMetro transports passengers.
Police urge drivers to expect delays and find alternate routes as the crash remains under investigation.
