Crash on I-35 shuts down all northbound lanes in North Austin

A crash on I-35 near Rundberg Lane shut down all northbound lanes of I-35 and a few southbound lanes Friday afternoon.

AUSTIN, Texas — A crash that occurred on north I-35 Friday afternoon has shut down all northbound lanes and the inside southbound lanes at the 11000 block.

According to Austin police, two people were transported to St. David's in Round Rock with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, the crash involved three vehicles, including a tractor-trailer.

The call came in at 6:07 p.m. for a crash in the 11000 block of I-35, near Middle Fiskville Road.

Scott Holland passed the crash Friday afternoon after it happened and snapped a photo that appears to show a truck flipped over on the center barrier for the interstate.

Use caution if you are traveling in this area and avoid the area if possible as crews work the scene.
