AUSTIN, Texas — One person has died following a two-vehicle crash that happened in Del Valle Sunday morning.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS), the crash occurred just after 5:30 a.m. in the 13000 block of FM812, just south of the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) track. Three people were involved in the accident, including a child.
One of the people died on the scene, while the child was taken to Dell Children's Hospital with potentially serious injuries. The third person involved refused to be transported to the hospital.
It is unclear what caused the crash.
