At least two people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving an ambulance and at least two cars in downtown Austin on Monday evening.
Police told KVUE’s Ashley Goudeau that a car hit a Kyle ambulance at Interstate 35 and 15th Street on Monday evening. A separate crash happened when a different car hit a truck.
The ambulance was carrying a patient to University Medical Center-Brackenridge at the time of the crash. Both the patient and the person driving the car were taken to Brackenridge.
