HAYS COUNTY, Texas — Driving in Hays County could be even more of a hassle starting next week.
That's because Union Pacific will be performing maintenance on a stretch of railroad tracks more than 20 miles long throughout the week.
According to officials, the maintenance will begin on Monday, Jan. 8, and it is expected to end by Jan. 14. Crews will be working on a stretch of crossings from Aquarena Springs Drive in San Marcos to Horsethief Trail in Manchaca along the Interstate 35 corridor.
