Road reopens after rollover crash near Austin's airport

The crash happened in the 3100 block of East State Highway 71.

AUSTIN, Texas — Drivers encountered significant traffic delays after a crash near the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Sunday morning.

The rollover crash happened in the 3100 block of the East State Highway 71 service road westbound, directly northeast of the airport, according to the Austin Police Department (APD). Police did not provide details about injuries or how many vehicles were involved in the crash.

As of around 9 a.m., all westbound traffic was being diverted onto the toll road, causing significant delays. By 10:30 a.m., APD said the scene was cleared and the road was reopened.
