AUSTIN, Texas — The City of Austin will honor local veterans with its annual Veteran's Day Parade Nov. 11.
Drivers should be aware of many road closures that happen from the morning until 1 p.m. in Downtown Austin as the parade unfolds starting at 9:30 a.m. The parade is scheduled to end at 11 a.m.

Here are the roads that will close for the parade:
- Cesar Chavez Street from the South Congress Avenue Bridge to Riverside Drive from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Barton Springs Road will partially close from Riverside Drive to Congress Avenue from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Eastbound West 11th Street will close from Lavaca Street to Colorado Street from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Westbound 11th Street will close from Colorado Street to Brazos Street from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Westbound East 11th Street will close from Brazos Street to San Jacinto Boulevard from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- 10th Street will close from Colorado Street to Brazos Street from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Ninth Street will close from Colorado Street to Brazos Street from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Eighth Street will close from Colorado Street to Brazos Street from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Seventh Street will close from Colorado Street to Brazos Street from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Sixth Street will close from Colorado Street to Brazos Street from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Fifth Street will close from Colorado Street to Brazos Street from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Fourth Street will close from Colorado Street to Brazos Street from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Third Street will close from Colorado Street to Brazos Street from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Second Street will close from Colorado Street to Brazos Street from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Eastbound West Cesar Chavez Street will close from Lavaca Street to Colorado Street from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Cesar Chavez Street will close from Colorado Street to Brazos Street from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
