AUSTIN, Texas — Travelers heading from Austin to Canada will soon have a new way to get there.
Air Canada has announced new nonstop flights from the Austin airport to Montreal starting May 3, 2024.
Flights are scheduled to leave Austin at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and arrive in Montreal at 4:28 p.m., local time. Flights from Montreal to Austin will operate on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and leave at 6:15 p.m., with a 9:32 p.m. arrival in Austin.
Montreal has never been served directly from Austin before. Air Canada's website shows tickets are already on sale.
Air Canada already operates a direct route from Austin to Toronto. Last year, the airline launched a new nonstop flight service between Austin and Vancouver.
In May of this year, Canadian airline WestJet relaunched nonstop service between Austin and Calgary – a route it had previously operated in 2019.
