AUSTIN, Texas — There is a new destination coming to Austin's airport.
Those who fly with Allegiant Airlines can travel nonstop to Omaha, Nebraska, throughout the summer and fall months. The one-way fares will cost as low as $49, the airline said.
“We are thrilled to expand our network in Austin by offering affordable, all-nonstop service to Omaha,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant senior vice president and chief revenue officer. “Whether it is reconnecting with friends and family or trying an authentic farm-to-fork restaurant, Nebraska has so much to offer. Allegiant is dedicated to providing the most affordable, accessible flights, without the hassle of layovers or connections.”
Flights will be available beginning June 15 from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS). There will be limited seats and dates available on all flights. Those who are interested must purchase tickets by Feb. 21 to be able to travel by Nov. 12. The nonstop flight will operate through Nov. 12.
