American Airlines adding flights to Louisville, Augusta this spring from Austin

The Kentucky and Georgia flights will offer Austinites a fast route to two major events.

AUSTIN, Texas — Looking for a quick trip to the Kentucky Derby or the Masters Tournament this spring? American Airlines has you covered.

The company on Friday announced it will be adding flights from Austin to Louisville, Kentucky, and Augusta, Georgia, this spring.

These flights will take off on May 5, 6 and 8:

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) to Louisville International Airport (SDF)

  • American Airlines flight 3979 will depart AUS at 12:25 p.m. local time and arrive at SDF at 3:45 p.m. local time.

SDF to AUS

  • American Airlines flight 3949 will depart SDF at 4:15 p.m. local time and arrive at AUS at 5:50 p.m. local time.

Then there's Georgia!

April 8: AUS to Augusta (AGS)

  • American Airlines flight 4130 will depart AUS at 9:39 a.m. local time and arrive at AGS at 1:14 p.m. local time.

April 11: AGS to AUS

  • American Airlines flight 3915 will depart AGS at 1:36 p.m. local time and arrive at AUS at 3:46 p.m. local time.

All flights will operate on an Embraer E175. Tickets are now on sale at aa.com.
