The Freeze Warning for Central Texas has expired

Temperatures fell into the 10s, 20s & 30s this morning but this afternoon will be mild and sunny.

AUSTIN, Texas — The Freeze Warning for Central Texas has expired as temperatures begin to climb this Sunday morning. Everybody fell into the 20s & 30s with a few 10s in the Hill Country. Temperatures this afternoon will climb into the low to mid-60s under sunny skies, so get outside and enjoy the mild temperatures.

The warming trend continues this week with a few areas climbing into the 80s. This is ahead of our next cold front that arrives overnight Friday. This cold front looks to bring big weather changes to our forecast just in time for the weekend.

The KVUE Weather Team will continue to closely monitor this developing forecast.
