AUSTIN, Texas — Our first cold front of the week brought the heaviest rainfall we have seen in several months. Now we're looking ahead to a second cold front that will not bring any rain, but it will bring a breeze and cooler temperatures for this weekend.
The coolest weather of the entire weekend will be Sunday morning. We expect a low temperature in Austin of 53 degrees, but the cooler locations in the Hill Country could easily drop into the upper 40s. The afternoon on Sunday looks stellar. It will be mostly sunny with a high temperature of around 79 degrees.
Temperatures will be rebounding through the 80s for the first half of next week. We may even hit the 90s by next Thursday ahead of another cold front late next week. We'll keep you posted.
The KVUE Weather Team will continue to closely monitor this developing forecast.
