AUSTIN, Texas — A weak cold front pushed through the KVUE area during the day on Thursday with a tiny bit of rain and some cloud cover, but behind the front our weather will be just about perfect for trick-or-treaters this evening.
Despite the cold front briefly dropping temperatures during the late morning and early afternoon, the sun came back out and temperatures quickly warmed into the 80s during the late day. Now temperatures will fall through the mid and upper 70s this evening under a clear sky for trick-or-treaters. The weather looks great so y'all enjoy!
Hit or miss rain chances will continue over the weekend, but we're looking ahead to a much stronger system early next week. This will bring a more robust storm chance and maybe even some severe weather for Monday afternoon and evening, and then behind it a big cool down starting on Election Day.
The KVUE Weather Team will continue to closely monitor this developing forecast.
