AUSTIN, Texas — While you are finalizing your Valentine's Day plans, you might be wondering if the weather will cooperate for you.
This time of year can be hard to find a sunny, warm day to spend with your loved ones, especially one that falls on a holiday. Thankfully, the weather during this year's Valentine's Day will be the least of your worries, no matter the plans!
As high pressure moves out of our region, there will be a little more cloud cover to work with on Wednesday. However, temperatures will stay above average. The widespread high will be in the upper 60s, and a few spots could hit 70.
It looks like the only downside to the forecast will be the cloudiness that works in overhead past noon. It will probably make for a good sunset though!
If you are headed to dinner later in the day, cloudy conditions will still be around. Wednesday night will not be as chilly as the past few nights, but you'll want to bring a jacket if you are sitting outside for dinner.
If you couldn't get a reservation for Valentine's Day, Thursday will also be warm, mild and mostly dry – just a bit cloudier. Rain chances return on Friday.
Have a wonderful Valentine's Day! Love, The KVUE Storm Team
