AUSTIN, Texas — Another record could be set for Sunday with the forecast high as 92 degrees and the record also at 92 degrees.
Saturday brought in new records at Camp Mabry and Austin Bergstrom and so it is a great setup for another hot and humid day.
Our next cold front will move through the area on Monday morning. Scattered showers and storms are in the forecast for the first half of Monday, then clearing skies for Monday afternoon. Afternoon temperatures will be in the mid 70s with a breezy north wind.
Rainfall accumulations are showing conservative numbers yet we could easily receive anywhere from a quarter of an inch to a half inch.
Our severe outlook for Monday is expected to remain east of the area with the closest being 1 out of 5.

This up-and-down weather pattern will continue, but for those cooler weather fans, the news is positive in the eight- to 14-day outlook from the Climate Prediction Center and shows "below average" temperatures as we head into the end of October.
