Trending warmer this weekend

By the weekend, a more southerly wind direction will be setting up across Central Texas, and this will help bring in warmer temperatures.

For Saturday afternoon, temperatures will reach the mid-60s with a few more clouds around, but the day will still be dry.

Sunday will feature a few more clouds, with rain moving in on Monday. Temperatures trend much warmer for Sunday afternoon, with highs in the mid-70s.

Higher rain chances possible next week

Highs will be in the upper 70s on Monday with a chance of spotty showers. A strong cold front arrives on Tuesday with a much colder airmass behind it. Highs will be in the 40s on Wednesday and Thursday with scattered areas of rain.
