Low temperatures on Wednesday morning ranged from 18 degrees in Fredericksburg to 34 degrees at Austin's Camp Mabry. Another cold night is in store for Wednesday, with lows by Thursday morning in the 20s and 30s. The skies will be clear and the wind will be calm, so wind chill will not be a factor on Wednesday night.
It will be mostly sunny and milder for Thursday afternoon, with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. Clouds will thicken late in the day.
A weak front and storm system will move into the area on Friday. Cloudy, foggy, wet and colder weather is expected on Friday, with highs in the upper 40s and low 50s. Rainfall amounts up to an inch east of Austin will be possible.
