SAN ANTONIO — The rain in San Antonio caused people some problems all over our area Tuesday morning. Watches and warnings were issued throughout the morning in parts of San Antonio, the Hill Country and counties west of San Antonio. In addition to rainfall early this morning, the area is expected to get an additional 2-4 inches of rain throughout the day.
The water was all of the way up to the doors of restaurants on Broadway in Alamo Heights.
Traffic was at a standstill as commuters got caught in the downpour.
I-35 at Toepperwein Road had cars backed up for miles due to water covering the highway.
